This time Bi Jianye focuses more on the spiritual space, towards inner realities; he is in fact going to create troubles for himself searching for enriching experiences in life.

In this new series of works, the artist is intentionally avoiding the narrative expression, revisiting the system of drawing and looking for new possibilities. Using ultra-ordinary objects as the subject of his paintings, he provides a definite methodology to process the irrelevance and uncertainty among the depicted objects. Hence opposing to the usual way people look into things, he suggests different perspectives for observation, which insinuate our speculation towards our life, values and relationships within the society.
